Tallinn
Tallinn is the capital city of Estonia, the most northern of the three Baltic states that was formerly part of the USSR. The Baltic states achieved independence peacfully in the early 1990’s and Estonia is now a member of the European Union and NATO. Tallinn fuses the old medieval with the modern. These images were shot over a 24 hour period.

Tallinn, Estonia

Tallinn is the capital city of Estonia, the most northern of the three Baltic States that was formerly part of the USSR. The Baltic States achieved independence peacefully in the early 1990's and Estonia is now a member of the European Union and NATO. Tallinn fuses the old medieval with the modern. It is compact for a capital city and easily navigable, with little trace of its occupied past, even though this is style remembered. These photographs were taken over a 24-hour period during a short stay and give a flavour for the city. (Images taken 2015)
